Vision Our vision is to maintain a healthy community in Riverside County for all ages.
Mission Riverside County Immunization Coalition is dedicated to promoting health and preventing the incidence of vaccine preventable diseases through community partnerships, education and outreach.
Priorities Promote national inmunization recommendations. Provide up-to-date information about vaccines, recommendations and registries. Facilitate coordination and collaboration among private, non-profit, public and other agencies to increase immunization awareness, education and access to the community. Create effective immunization messages for the purpose of creating educational materials. Promote and support local and statewide development of Immunization Information System (IIS). Advocate for policy changes to maximize immunization levels. Expand and sustain membership of coalition.
Structure RCIC is composed of representatives from the community and organizations who are committed to RCIC’s mission. Members meet quarterly to learn about the latest immunization information and recommendations, share information on best practices, network with others who work to improve immunization coverage rates, and participate on various committees to develop and implement strategies designed to improve immunization coverage rates.
